Invisalign is an innovative system of orthodontics used to treat crooked and crowded teeth in adults and teens. This modern approach to tooth movement uses a sequence of clear trays that are worn throughout the day and night, but can be easily removed to eat and to clean the teeth. The trays are custom fitted to your teeth and once in place, will go unnoticed by those around you. Each set of trays are engineered in a specific order for your mouth and your desired outcome. They provide small forces on individual teeth that allow for gradual movement and result in a more ideal alignment over time. With Invisalign, you can achieve the smile you’ve always wanted, without many of the drawbacks of traditional braces. Call us today and set up a consultation appointment to see if Invisalign is right for you!
Did you know…
Invisalign typically offers much more freedom than traditional braces? More adults are choosing Invisalign all the time because it is discreet and because there is no need to change your diet to avoid foods that could damage traditional braces. This is because the Invisalign system is free of brackets and wires, instead opting for a removable tray that should be taken out prior to meals. Also, Invisalign fits well into busy adult schedules, as there is no need to attend frequent visits for wire tightening. Most patients simply change to a new aligner tray every couple of weeks.

You will usually be given 3-4 sets of aligners at a time and have regular visits with our office during your treatment. You will be expected to wear the aligners nearly all of the time, with the exception of times when you are eating or cleaning the teeth. Invisalign treatments differ for each individual, but most of our patients achieve their ideal smile within 12 to 24 months.
Following your treatment you will need to wear a retainer each night to help protect your new smile. It will also be important to bring your retainers when visiting your dentist for routine check-ups and twice-yearly cleanings.
